Some of our embroidered abayas, especially fully embroidered designs, require special care during ironing.
Press ironing (industrial pressing / الكوي بالكبس) may cause the abaya length to shrink by up to 5 cm due to combined heat and pressure, especially on heavily embroidered fabrics.
✔ Recommended Care:
Use normal hand ironing only
Iron at low to medium heat
Iron from the inside (inside-out)
Avoid direct heat on embroidery as much as possible
✖ Please Avoid:
Press ironing machines
Heavy steam press
High heat with pressure
Note: Shrinkage caused by press ironing is considered a care-related issue and is not a manufacturing defect.
