⚡ Special Ironing Advisory for Premium Embroidery
Some of our embroidered abayas—especially heavily or fully embroidered designs—require dedicated attention during maintenance. Using improper industrial methods can compromise the premium fabric weave and structural alignment.
Subjecting heavily embroidered garments to standard commercial press ironing (industrial heavy pressing / الكوي بالكبس) may cause the total length of the abaya to shrink by up to 5 cm. This physical shrinkage occurs when high surface heat combines with heavy downward physical pressure across intricate stitch designs.

|---|---|
| • Use standard domestic hand ironing tools only. • Set temperature gauges exclusively to Low or Medium settings. • Always turn the abaya inside-out and iron from the reverse interior lining. • Minimize direct thermal exposure to surface-embroidered stitching patterns. | • Avoid commercial-grade mechanical flat press machinery. • Avoid heavy-pressure commercial steam press layouts. • Avoid high-temperature settings coupled with crushing physical compression. |
Important Policy Note: Any fabric contraction or length shrinkage triggered by industrial press ironing operations is classified strictly as a garment care-related issue. This outcome does not constitute a manufacturing defect and is not covered under our standard exchange policies.
